Our Doctor
To our patients at Omaha Center for Sight,
I am excited to announce that as of July 1, 2026 I will be moving my practice a few blocks East to join Eye Consultants, a team of ophthalmologists and optometrists that I have known and trusted over the years. This will allow me the opportunity to scale back my practice to a part-time basis while providing continuity of care with my colleagues there. Eye Consultants will also widen the scope of my practice to include a glaucoma and cataract specialist, Shane Havens MD, a medical retina and cataract specialist, Mike daSilva MD, and a cataract specialist, Joseph Townley MD. I will also be supported by a dedicated team of optometrists and opticians. More information on my new office and affiliation can be found at www.eyeconsultantspc.com.
There is nothing you need to do during this transition. Your electronic and physical records will be transferred to Eye Consultants. While the records will be in the possession of Eye Consultants, they will not be accessed except in providing for your care and with your permission. We will be contacting you to confirm our continued physician-patient relationship and/or reschedule your appointments that are already on the books.
I am grateful that you have entrusted your eyecare to me and the Omaha Center for Sight team all these years and look forward to continuing your care at Eye Consultants.
I am confident you will be happy with the care at our new location. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Omaha Center for Sight at (402)-933-5616 prior to July 1, or Eye Consultants at (402) 391-1100 on July 1,2026 or afterward. Thank you.
Sincerely,
John D. Peters, M.D.
